CleverPrint can help you save paper and ink. It is installed as a virtual printer that allows you to take control of the way pages are arranged on the sheet of paper. In this respect, the application supports printing up to eight pages on each sheet.
The tool can be accessed in two ways. You can use the program’s shortcut. Besides, you can open the Print dialog of any program that supports printing and set CleverPrint as active printer. The application has a nice interface that allows you to make some final changes to the document before you send it to the actual printer, which include removing unnecessary pages and deleting graphics to save some ink. Besides real printing, the product also lets you create PDF documents, which makes it a universal PDF converter. Likewise, it can export print jobs in various image formats.
Although CleverPrint does its work appropriately, it seems to me that it has an excessive price, mostly because, if you own a modern printer, such functions as printing various document pages on the same sheet can be done with its accompanying software. On top of that, the product needs registration before you can try it for 30 days and shows an annoying dialog requesting purchase every time you close it.
